Finding Your Tribe
Hi kiddos! It’s Carrie from ABU here. One question we get asked often in customer service is:
How do I meet other AB/DLs?
This side of us is sacred but can sometimes feel lonely, therefore a desire to “find your tribe” is completely normal! In our world today, you can find like-minded people online, and out in the world. However it can still be a bit daunting, overwhelming, and sometimes awkward. It’s normal to feel all these things when looking for others who relate to such a personal aspect of your life.
I’d like to share a couple of tips I recommend to our customers who ask this.
Events 🥂
In-person events are a wonderful way to meet others in the local community! There are a few options nowadays.
Kink events are what they sound like. An event for adults where vetted individuals go to a scheduled gathering in ABDL clothing or gear to enjoy activities. Some can be sexual in nature – so keep that in mind if you’re looking at events!
Education classes are more rare, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there! If you’re looking to learn more and educate yourself on a certain topic in the ABDL space, or with a kink you personally are interested in – this can be a great way to meet like-minded people.
Another great choice is munches! It’s a safe-for-work environment where everyone gets together to meet in a more casual setting. These can be a great option for those who don’t feel comfortable sharing that little or big side of themselves quite yet, and also is a more cost effective way to get out there. As it doesn’t require a purchase of a ticket, and usually takes place at a public place such as a park, restaurant, etc.
Finding these events is the tricky part – but I highly recommend checking out Fetlife as a first step as you can find local events and even Ageplay groups or organizations this way.
Getting Social on Social Media 🌐
If you aren’t quite ready to step out in person yet to meet other ABDLs – that’s understandable! You can look online to find others as well.
These are a few popular options:
Reddit: Despite being more of a forum, Reddit is a great social site with ABDL specific boards, we even have our own ABU page too!
X/Bluesky: While they are not the same website – they act similarly enough that it’s worth putting them in the same spot. They both act as a social network that is more open to allowing adult content, including ABDL, as some other social networks do not allow it and can risk accounts being removed for not following their terms of service. This is not the case for X and Bluesky! You can explore hashtags of others out there, and post some of your own content (if you so wish).
Telegram: While not a social website per se, Telegram has become a popular chat option for those in the ABDL sphere, the furry community, and plenty of others. ABU has a telegram channel, we have rooms where you can chat with others who have joined our chat.
Fetlife: As I mentioned before in this article – fetlife is a wonderful place to find other AB/DLs. Being a kink website, it is strictly for adults, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it to make friends, find events, and be inspired by other’s posts.

While these two options aren’t the only ways to meet others in our community, these are the most known ways, as a lot of ABDLs keep this part of themselves private – which is common.
Remember, finding your tribe is a journey, not a race. Whether you start by dipping your toes into an online chat or showing up to a munch, always prioritize your safety and comfort. Your little side is a wonderful part of who you are, and a kind, supportive community is out there waiting for you.
